Middeleeuws Festival Jabbeke
Griffon Rouge
Jousts were very popular and a tradition of over 200 years in the bruges region, from 1285 till 1494
However a mediaval festival is no tradition at all so far in Western and Eastern Flanders, and neither are jousts
About time to change things and to immerse us in the Middle Ages, jousts, and so much more
Exactly the purpose of the Medieval festival at Jabbeke
A full day for big and small, interactivity is very important to us, participation is as good as part of our motto !
There are not one, but two large kid villages with a lot of activities for them, from crafting (bracelets, hair bands, jewelry) to other activities such as archery, cross bows, catapult shooting, trebuchet, all kinds of games, bouncy castles, painting, drawing, make-up, selfiecorners as a knight or a princess, etc
And of course at the end of ecery day there is the kid safe kiddie battle against the knights !
All activities for the kids are free !!!
But also the adults have several activities such as archery, learn how to handle a sword, all-in a safe and educational way, next to painting, calligraphy, medieval dancing, and you can pose with some of the impressive birds of prey. And so much more !
